One of three videos we produced for CDOT's 2015 Transportation Summit in Denver, CO. Each video needed to help explain a concept while getting summit attendees excited about the future of transportation. For this project, they needed a video that helped sell the possibility of future advances in transportation by explaining the giant leaps humanity has made in the past.
First, we drew on our documentary background as we sourced archival imagery of early railways, interstates and even man's first steps on the moon. We then stepped out of the office to get footage of iconic Colorado transportation landmarks, such as the I-25 mousetrap, the I-70 viaduct and Loveland Pass. We combined all of this with high end motion graphics to show how driving technology will connect vehicles, drivers and infrastructure.
